Privacy Policy for the iPhone App
This policy covers the free iPhone app of radiosurgery and radiation oncology teaching tools published by Timoteo Almeida, MD. Effective November 7, 2026.
Summary
The app does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
What stays on your device
The app keeps a few settings on your iPhone so it opens the way you left it, such as the last tab and section you used and whether you have seen the introduction. These settings never leave your device and are removed when you delete the app.
The app also keeps a short list of your recent calculations, with their inputs and results, on your iPhone so you can reopen them. Numbers you enter are used only on your device to show a result. When you tap Copy summary, the result is placed on your clipboard; nothing is sent anywhere.
Links to websites
Some screens link to pages on timoteoalmeida.com or to published sources such as PubMed. These open in Safari, and those websites have their own privacy policies.
Health information
The app is for teaching and discussion. Do not enter patient names or other identifying information. The app does not ask for or keep health records.
Children
The app is written for medical professionals and trainees and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
